Academy graduate Fred Onyedinma signed his first pro contract in November 2013 and made such an impression that he was immediately offered an extended deal.

Fred, previously Schoolboy Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year, made his first senior appearance as a late sub in the FA Cup tie at Southend United in January 2014 and his Championship debut, again as a sub, at Blackpool on 11th February 2014.

He made his full debut in the derby against Charlton four days later, walking away with the Man of the Match award following the 0-0 draw and was again named Young Player of the Year.

After making four appearances for Millwall in the early part of the 2014/15 season, Fred joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan and hit eight goals - five of which came in a four-game spell - in 25 matches as The Chairboys qualified for the League Two Play-Offs.

He started the 2015/16 campaign as a first-team regular and scored two goals in the first four games. Having featured regularly either starting matches or coming on as an impact sub, Fred found opportunities restricted in the latter half of the campaign and finished the season with 22 starts and four goals to his credit.

Fred was heavily involved during Millwall's promotion campaign of 2016/17, featuring 54 times and scoring 6 goals, most notably netting the winner in the crucial 1-0 win over Southend United on February 11th.

The pacy and exciting forward was often deployed as an impact-substitute in 2017/18, making 37 league appearances.
