Tom King

Date of birth

Former Crystal Palace youngster Tom was signed by Millwall at the end of August 2014.

The promising goalkeeper was initially drafted in to bolster The Lions U21s, but found himself promoted to David Forde's deputy by the end of September and featured regularly on the bench during 2014/15.

He had a spell on loan at Welling United earlier last season and then was a pivotal performer, again on loan, helping Braintree Town come within a whisker of reaching the National League Play-Off Final at Wembley. Braintree narrowly missed out after losing the Semi-Final 2-1 on aggregate after extra time to Grimsby Town.

Tom, 21, has already been capped by England at U16 and U17 level and enjoyed a fruitful 2016/17 campaign, making his League bow in a goalless draw against Chesterfield at The Den. He went on to make 18 appearances in total, including a start in the Emirates FA Cup Quarter-Final against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
