Luke Steele became Neil Harris' ninth summer signing ahead of 2019/20, arriving at The Den on a loan deal until January 2020 from Nottingham Forest, and making his debut in Millwall's Carabao Cup victory at West Bromwich Albion.
The goalkeeper boasts a wealth of experience at Championship level, and has also competed in European competition.
Luke began his career on the books of hometown club Peterborough United, earning attention from Manchester United in the process - signing for The Red Devils in 2002. After a loan move to Coventry City and a permanent departure from Old Trafford to join West Bromwich Albion, Luke joined Barnsley on loan in 2008.
The 6'2'' stopper went on to sign a contract at Oakwell, making over 200 Barnsley appearances across seven seasons - each competing in the Championship as he became The Reds' established first-choice goalkeeper.
Luke then made a bold move to the Greek Super League to join Panathinaikos, again working to a starting berth and playing numerous UEFA Europa League matches for the club. He would join Bristol City in 2017, making 10 appearances before moving on to Nottingham Forest and making seven outings.
