Towering centre-half Byron Webster signed in the summer of 2014 after his contract at Yeovil Town came to an end.

The Yorkshire-born defender opted to join The Lions after turning down a new contract with The Glovers, who were relegated to League One at the end of the 2013/14 campaign.

Byron's first start came against Wycombe Wanderers in the Capital One Cup in August 2014. The defender went on to make 13 further appearances for Millwall in 2014/15 before returning to Huish Park on loan in February 2015, where he featured 14 times.

The 2015/16 campaign saw Byron really establish himself as a pivotal part of a back four unit that kept 21 clean sheets during the course of a season in which his performances went from strength to strength.

Despite injury forcing him out of the League One Play-Off final of 2016 in the warm-up, Byron featured at Wembley the following year as Millwall beat Bradford City to earn promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.

Byron made just 10 league appearances in 2017/18 due to injury struggles, but has had a solid pre-season for 2018/19.
