George Saville signed a long-term deal at Millwall on 26th June 2017.
The central midfielder joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee ahead of the first day of pre-season training for The Lions' 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship campaign. George had previously risen through the youth system at Chelsea, before a brief loan spell at The Den in 2013 along with a stint at Brentford.
The Northern Irish international, born in Surrey, had loan spells from Wolves at Bristol City and then again at The Lions, where he impressed to the extent that the club would later swoop in for him on a permanent deal.
George started the 2017/18 season in a rich vein of form, which was recognised by a call-up to the Northern Ireland squad for the World Cup Qualifiers against Germany and Norway. He has since earned a total of five caps so far, and is considered one of the division's most dynamic midfield players, top-scoring alongside Lee Gregory last season with 10 league strikes.
