Millwall Football Club's Academy, based at the Well Hall training ground, is a source of great pride for everyone connected with The Lions.
The set-up provides a fantastic education both on and off the pitch for young players to help ensure they can maximise their potential.
Millwall's U18 team competes in the Professional Development League (Category 2) and the FA Youth Cup, while the U16s also play competitive fixtures. The Academy's U9s–U15s combine regular training with a games programme against both Category 1 and 2 clubs.
Lions Academy teams will be coached and encouraged to play football with a possession-based approach, utilising sound attacking core technical skills complemented by good decision-making and timely support play.
Coaches will adopt a player-centred approach to coaching and endeavour to create a fun, technically-based and pressure-free learning environment with a high degree of professional standards and disciplines that are dedicated to the holistic development of players.
