Bio
Goalkeeper George Long joined Millwall from Hull City on 1st July 2021.
The 27-year-old stopper began his career at Sheffield United and made his professional debut in May 2011, before going on to make 123 appearances for The Blades, experiencing a Play-Off campaign and loan spells at Oxford United, Motherwell and AFC Wimbledon before signing for Hull City in the summer of 2018.
Long made 65 appearances for the Humberside outfit, including a full season of Sky Bet Championship football in 2019/20.
The goalkeeper made his Millwall debut in The Lions' 2-1 Carabao Cup First Round victory over Portsmouth on 10th August 2021 and featured in all of the club's Cup matches during the 2021/22 campaign.
