Key supporter information ahead of Emirates FA Cup tie

7 January 2022

Ahead of this Saturday's Emirates FA Cup tie against Crystal Palace at The Den, the club would like to remind the supporters of the need to supply COVID-19 Certification in order to gain entry into the stadium.

Entry into The Den

As communicated previously, proof of a negative lateral flow test or vaccine certification is now a requirement for entry to matches at The Den. Please click here for instructions on how to obtain either.

Recent government guidance issued stipulates that the vaccine cards presented after your jab are not permissible evidence and you therefore will need to download the COVID pass as per this guide.

For further information and to watch how you can register your lateral flow test result, please click here.

International fans travelling into the country for the game from abroad will be able to provide COVID passes accepted at British airports as proof.

Under 18s are not required to show any proof of vaccination or a negative lateral flow test to enter the stadium.

Face covering will be required to be worn at all times when inside the stadium, except when consuming food and drink. You do not need to wear a face covering when positioned in your seat.

Cashless stadium

All catering and hospitality areas at The Den have now transitioned to a cashless operation.

The Lions will only accept credit or debit card and contactless payments across parts of the stadium - this covers kiosks and bars in our concourses and hospitality areas.

You will be able to make payment using the following methods:

  • most major credit and debit cards (AMEX is accepted in the lounges but not in the kiosks)
  • mobile payments (ApplePay, SamsungPay and GooglePay)

Other areas of the stadium, such as the Lions Store, Ticket Office and when purchasing programmes, will still accept cash.

Arrival times

With a near sell-out crowd expected at The Den this weekend, fans are strongly advised to arrive early to prevent queues building close to kick-off.

Fans will be able to enjoy food and drink at our SE16 Bus Bar which will be open from 10:30am

The Lions Store will be open from 9am and close at kick-off. Please note the main Ticket Office will be open from 10am, but will only be available to fans wishing to collect tickets for Crystal Palace.

Supporters wishing to purchase or collect tickets for Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion at home, as well as tickets for The Lions' visit to Blackpool, can do so at the South Stand Ticket Office.

Your safety and security at The Den

Here at The Den, your safety and security and that of those around you, is of paramount importance to us.

Arrive as early as possible and keep what you carry to a minimum as fewer bag searches will be mean quicker entry to The Den.

If you see anything suspicious at the ground, inside or out, please inform your closest steward or police officer straight away.

In an emergency, please listen to the instructions over the PA system. In case of evacuation, please do so as safely and quickly as possible. Please do not wait around for any reason.

Move away from the stadium in order to allow the emergency services the necessary access. Once you are safe, please follow @metpoliceUK on Twitter for updates.

Thank you for your cooperation and ongoing support.
