Preview | Millwall v Preston North End

Under the lights in SE16...

1 February 2022

Millwall take on Preston North End in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday night (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Lions will be buoyed by Saturday's 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion and will now look to move up the League table in one of their games in hand. They welcome a Preston North End side who, managed by Ryan Lowe, currently sit one point and two places higher than Gary Rowett's side.

Oliver Burke impressed on his home debut against The Baggies at the weekend and may retain his place in the starting XI, whilst goalscorers Mason Bennett and Benik Afobe will also be vying for starting places. With no injuries to report from Saturday's game, Ryan Leonard, Daniel Ballard, Tom Bradshaw and Sheyi Ojo remain absentees, whilst the fitness of Jed Wallace and George Saville will be assessed prior to kick-off.

Tickets for Tuesday's game will be on sale up until kick-off, but if you are unable to make it to SE16, then full match commentary will be available on iFollow Millwall, with international subscribers able to watch the action from The Den. Click here for more details.

For pre-match entertainment, purchase a copy of Tuesday's matchday programme and read an interview with Mason Bennett, whilst the attacker also spoke to millwallfc.co.uk following the weekend's win.
