Preview | Blackburn Rovers v Millwall

To Ewood Park...

18 February 2022

Millwall travel to Blackburn Rovers in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

The Lions head to Ewood Park in good form, having registered back-to-back home wins over Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers, and will now go in search of a first success on the road since 29th December.

Gary Rowett will, however, have to make do without a number of key players for the trip. Ryan Leonard, Tom Bradshaw and Sheyi Ojo remain long-term absentees, but they recently been joined by Benik Afobe, Luke Freeman and Oliver Burke in the treatment room. The manager was, though, able to call upon the services of Jed Wallace in the last week, whilst Daniel Ballard could play his part in the squad after gaining match practice. Tyler Burey will also be pushing for a starting berth after scoring - alongside the in-form Mason Bennett - his first Lions goal against The R's.

Tickets are now off sale for Saturday's fixture - if you are unable to make the journey, then full match commentary will be available on iFollow Millwall, with international subscribers able to watch the action from Ewood Park.

You can watch interviews with Bennett and Jed Wallace by clicking the relevant links, whilst Burey also spoke to millwallfc.co.uk after Tuesday's victory here.
