Millwall Football Club is delighted to announce that Murray Wallace has been crowned as The Lions' 2021/22 Millwall Supporters' Club Player of the Season.
The defender triumphed over Danny McNamara and Bartosz Bialkowski, who were voted into second and third place respectively.
The 29-year-old has made 42 appearances in all competitions for the club this season, proving a consistent and reliable asset at the back for Gary Rowett. The Scot has also found the net on six occasions, including a double at home to Cambridge United in the Carabao Cup and a last-minute winner at Oakwell against Barnsley in October.
McNamara's silver medal is also in conjunction with picking up the Junior Lions Player of the Year award. The right-back, who burst onto the scene in the second half of last season, has made the right-back slot his own in 2021/22, with his crowning glory coming at home to The Tykes, where he scored his first two Millwall goals in a 4-1 victory.
Bialkowski, meanwhile, retains a place in the top three for the third season running. An ever-present in the Sky Bet Championship, the goalkeeper has kept 13 clean sheets to date and has continued to prove himself as a more than stable option between the sticks.
Elsewhere, Tyler Burey wins the Young Player of the Year award, whilst Zak Lovelace is Millwall's Schoolboy of the Year for a second season running.
All the aforementioned players will receive their awards on the pitch prior to Saturday's fixture against Peterborough United - and you can also hear from Murray Wallace and Gary Rowett on the awards by clicking the respective links.
