Daniel Ballard scored his first Northern Ireland goal during September's international break.
The defender was on hand to turn home from close-range to open the scoring in the Green and White Army's 4-1 win in Lithuania on 2nd September, playing the 90 minutes as Ian Baraclough's side secured three FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifying points.
Ballard - on loan at The Den from Arsenal - then watched from the bench as former Lion Shane Ferguson's long-range rocket handed Northern Ireland a 1-0 friendly victory in Estonia three nights later, before the 21-year-old was at the heart of the defence in Wednesday night's creditable 0-0 draw with Switzerland at Windsor Park.
George Saville came off the bench to play his part in the midweek qualifier.
Baraclough's side next face an away double-header in qualifying next month, as Northern Ireland travel to Switzerland and Bulgaria.
