Loan round-up

Clean sheet for Alex Mitchell's Orient...

26 October 2021

Isaac Olaofe found the net once again for Sutton United last weekend - but his effort was to be in vain as Rochdale scored a stoppage-time winner at the Crown Oil Arena.

Goals from Alex Newby and Liam Kelly put Dale into a 2-0 lead in the Sky Bet League Two meeting, but after Olaofe and Alistair Smith - in the 82nd and 90th minutes respectively - brought the 10-man visitors level, hearts were broken five minutes into injury-time as Aaron Morley found the winner.

There were draws for Alex Mitchell and Mahlon Romeo, meanwhile, as Leyton Orient and Portsmouth drew 0-0 at Stevenage and 2-2 at Accrington Stanley respectively.

The O's have now dropped out of the League Two Play-Off places courtesy of four draws in a row, whilst Marcus Harness rescued a draw for Pompey with an 86th-minute equaliser to prevent them being sucked into the lower reaches of the table.

Hayden Muller was an unused sub as St Johnstone were defeated 2-0 by Celtic in the cinch Premiership, with Junior Tiensia and Dover Athletic back in action on Tuesday night as they looked to get their Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round replay with Yate Town played at the second attempt.

Dan Moss also played as Yeovil Town lost 2-0 to Grimsby Town in the Vanarama National League.
