Kevin Nugent was in two minds when discussing Millwall Under 23s' 4-4 Professional Development League draw with Ipswich Town on Monday afternoon.
Chin Okoli, Kai Garande, Nana Boateng and Tom Leahy all hit the target at Playford Road, but a last-minute Ipswich equaliser prevented The Lions from securing a first away victory of the 2021/22 season.
"We were a real attacking threat today, but we are not doing enough to stop conceding goals just yet," Nugent told millwallfc.co.uk after the dust settled on Monday's extravaganza.
The Lions were 2-0 and 3-1 behind before beginning an incredible comeback, nudging themselves into the lead 10 minutes from time through Leahy's strike.
"Even at 3-1 behind, we had about five chances to add to the score before we did through Kai and Nana. Our last three games have been like that, so there is a lot to work with going forward."
