Now that the 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship campaign has reached its conclusion, millwallfc.co.uk, in association with Playmaker Stats, the club's official statistical partner, dissects the season into statistics...

With 15 wins, 17 draws and 14 defeats to their name, The Lions finished 11th in the table with 62 points. A total of 47 goals were scored, with 52 conceded - a final goal difference of -5.

The season began with a draw at home to Stoke City and ended with defeat at Coventry City, and there was only one man to play in every minute of all 46 games - 4,140 minutes - and that was goalkeeper and back-to-back MSC Player of the Year winner, Bartosz Bialkowski, with the only other player in the division to achieve that feat being Queens Park Rangers' Yoann Barbet.

Jed Wallace took the silver medal by being on the field for 3,842 minutes, with Jake Cooper taking bronze, playing 3,712 minutes. Shaun Hutchinson, an ever-present until injury curtailed his campaign, and Ryan Woods completed the top five.

Jed Wallace finished the season as top goalscorer with 11 strikes to his name, five in front of next-in-line Mason Bennett, with loanee Scott Malone in third place. In total, The Lions had 16 different goalscorers across the season, whilst four own goals were forced - the highest amount in the division.

Jed also topped the assists chart, creating five goals, whilst Ryan Leonard finished second with three assists. A total of seven players - including Cooper, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and the departing Shaun Williams - assisted twice.

The club's 62 points were shared equally, with 31 coming from both The Den and on the road. Seven matches were won in SE16, with 10 drawn and six lost, whilst The Lions won eight times on the road, drawing seven and losing eight.

Along with Swansea City and Reading, Millwall were one of only three teams not receive a straight red card in 2020/21, whilst the hottest time to score was between the 31st and 45th minutes - The Lions hitting the back of the net 12 times during that particular period.

With regards to individual playing stats, five Lions placed in the top 10 of certain Sky Bet Championship statistical areas.
