Mitchell helps Ravens into Vanarama Play-Offs

The final weekend of the season...

31 May 2021

Alex Mitchell was in the thick of the action as Bromley secured a historic place in the Vanarama National League Play-Offs on the final day of the regular season last weekend.

The centre-back was involved at both ends as Ben Williamson's goal defeated Notts County and ensured a seventh-placed finish and a spot in the end-of-season lottery.

Bromley will now travel to Hartlepool United in a Play-Off eliminator next weekend - should they be victorious, they will play at Stockport County in the Semi-Finals for the right to contest the promotion Final at Bristol City's Ashton Gate.

The Lions' two other loanees, meanwhile, met in a final-day clash at The Hive as Sam Skeffington's Barnet were 2-0 victors over Isaac Olaofe's champions Sutton United.

Skeffington played the full game as The Bees signed off with a victory in front of their own fans, whilst Olaofe had to withdraw through injury just after the half-hour mark.
