Bartosz Bialkowski named 2020/21 MSC Player of the Season

Back-to-back gongs for the stopper...

7 May 2021

Millwall Football Club is delighted to announce that Bartosz Bialkowski has been named as the 2020/21 Millwall Supporters' Club Player of the Season.

The goalkeeper triumphed over Jed Wallace and Shaun Hutchinson, who were voted into second and third place respectively, to win back-to-back titles.

The 34-year-old stopper has kept 17 clean sheets to date in 2020/21 - going one better than last season's total - and has been an ever-present in the Sky Bet Championship, making 48 appearances in total across the campaign.

Jed Wallace has found the net 11 times in 46 apperances to claim a second successive runner-up slot, whilst defender Hutchinson - also an ever-present until an injury cut short his season - was at the heart of The Lions' defence on 43 occasions.

Danny McNamara, who has enjoyed a breakthrough year on the right-hand side of Gary Rowett's XI, has been named as the Young Player of the Season, whilst Bialkowski and Jed Wallace have also received the Junior Lions Player of the Season and PFA Community Champion awards respectively.

Zak Lovelace, meanwhile, has been selected as the Schoolboy of the Year.
