Bartosz Bialkowski has stated how he is "honoured and privileged" to win the MSC Player of the Season award for a second successive year.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper beat Jed Wallace and Shaun Hutchinson to the award, impressing once again in his 48 appearances to date, keeping 17 clean sheets and pulling off a string of fine saves across the course of the campaign.
"It feels really good," the stopper told millwallfc.co.uk. "I've had another good season, a consistent one. There have been some ups and downs, but overall it has been a positive one for me. I'm very honoured and privileged to get the award again.
"I came here after a tough year at Ipswich - I just wanted to enjoy football again. From day one, I've done that. I've enjoyed every single training session. I had a little bit of luck with Frankie unfortunately getting injured in the first-half of the first game of last season, but from that day I've never looked back.
"I've tried to keep my spot in the team and I think I've done that. It hasn't come easy, you need to put hard work into every single day, but you get repaid."
