Gary Rowett has stated it was "lovely" to see Lions fans back inside a stadium after seeing his Millwall side draw 1-1 with Gillingham on Tuesday night.
Kyle Dempsey gave Steve Evans' outfit a first-half lead during Priestfield's pre-season friendly, but Jake Cooper equalised late on to secure a draw.
The manager opened his interview by praising the 700 travelling supporters.
"It was lovely to see them back and to walk out for a game with a bit of atmosphere," he told millwallfc.co.uk. "Our fans were in full voice, as usual, and it was great to see.
"I'm glad we got the goal at the end, I think it was about deserved. To a certain degree, it was a really good game for us. Gillingham are an aggressive team, quick and play forward quickly. They win second balls and the game becomes frantic. I said to players that they had to match that, but then show a bit of Championship quality when you get the chance.
"I think in the first-half, at times, we needed to show that bit of composure and use the ball a bit better, and then have more quality in the final third. Second-half, we were better. We moved the ball a lot better and moved the ball with all the possession and play. We struggled to create chances but I thought they defended really well."
