Millwall manager Gary Rowett believes the versatility of deadline day signing George Evans will be key for The Lions moving forward.
The 26-year-old becomes Rowett's second permanent addition this January transfer window after the signing of Maikel Kieftenbeld from Birmingham City.
A versatile player, Evans can play either in the midfield or defence, something that manager Gary Rowett sees as a huge positive moving forward with systems played.
Speaking to to millwallfc.co.uk, Rowett said: "He can play in the middle of a back three and start the attacks off. He can play on the right side of back three which he showed for Derby this season.
"He can play as a holding midfielder on his own, a two-man midfield or as an eight. He's played as an eight earlier on in his career, got forward and added some good attacking play.
"If we can find players that have that extra bit of athleticism but also have good quality on the ball - that is a blend we're looking for."
