Swansea City fixture postponed

23 December 2021

Millwall Football Club can confirm that its Sky Bet Championship match against Swansea City this Sunday 26th December has been postponed.

This is due to an additional number of positive COVID-19 cases within the playing squad and support staff.

The club has worked hard to ensure that it has been able to fulfil the fixture, however, taking into account the injuries and positive COVID-19 cases within the squad, the club does not have a sufficient number of players available in order to fulfil the fixture.

Only a minority of those who have returned positive test results are experiencing any sort of symptoms and they are very mild at worst.

The decision to postpone the match has once again been made following extensive dialogue with all necessary stakeholders.

A new date for the match will be announced when confirmed. Tickets already purchased for Sunday’s game will be valid for the rearranged date, but should you require a refund then please email with proof of purchase and staff will assist accordingly. If you are booked in for matchday hospitality and need to discuss amending your booking or requesting a refund, please email

Supporters who have purchased iFollow Video Match Passes, meanwhile, will be contacted individually in due course by the EFL.
