Millwall Football Club is delighted to announce that Ryan Leonard has signed a new long-term contract at The Den.
The 29-year-old has scored five goals for The Lions since joining from Sheffield United, initially on loan, before making the move permanent in 2019 - and will now spend the forseeable future in SE16.
Starting his career at Plymouth as a youngster, the midfielder then spent time at both Southend and Sheffield United, before moving to the capital.
Making his Millwall debut at home to Leeds United in 2018, he netted his first goal in front of the Cold Blow Lane in a 3-0 win over Ipswich that same season.
Leonard made 30 appearances during the 2020/21 season, playing in a variety of positions including: centre-midfield, right-back and centre-half, before picking up an injury that ruled him out for the rest of the season.
