Preview | Rotherham United v Millwall

Lions' away Sky Bet Championship campaign begins...

18 September 2020

Millwall travel to the AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they take on Rotherham United in the Sky Bet Championship (kick-off 3pm).

The Lions got their 2020/21 campaign underway with a goalless draw at home to Stoke City last weekend, and now hit the road for the first time in search of a first three points of the season.

Gary Rowett's side do, however, head to Yorkshire with two Carabao Cup victories under their belts, overcoming Crawley Town and Cheltenham Town to claim a Third Round tie against Burnley.

The manager welcomed Mahlon Romeo back into the fold on Tuesday night and the right-back will hope to be involved once again, but Troy Parrott and Billy Mitchell will miss the trip through injury. Meanwhile, Connor Mahoney impressed against The Robins and will push for a start, whilst names such as Scott Malone, Jed Wallace and Mason Bennett, who all took their place on the bench in the week, will be expected to come back into the starting XI.
