Club Statement: COVID-19 update

Millwall Football Club regrets to confirm that all upcoming Beambacks and Stadium Tours have been cancelled in line with the latest lockdown plans revealed by the government.

The club hopes that such services can resume as soon as the lockdown ends and will keep supporters updated as and when further information is available in early December.

The extension of the government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme will see a number of club staff placed back on furlough given the required cancellation of most activities. The vast majority of administration staff have once again now been or remain furloughed, which is an imperative and unavoidable cost-saving measure during this period of unparalleled financial difficulty.

Appropriate staff will, however, continue to process refunds owed to supporters during their permitted working hours. The club appreciates the ongoing patience of fans in this regard.

The club is conscious and concerned about the impact this latest lockdown will have on the physical and mental health of many supporters and would urge anyone in need of assistance of any kind to email slo@millwallplc.com so that staff can help accordingly.
