Watch Millwall's classic win over West Ham United!

On This Day in 2004...

21 March 2020

Apologies, this video is unvailable.

It was a win crowned as 'The Mother's Day Massacre' - and now you can watch Millwall's 4-1 victory over West Ham United in its entirety.

A Christian Dailly own-goal, plus a double from Tim Cahill and a strike from Nick Chadwick ensured a fantastic derby day victory for Dennis Wise and Ray Wilkins' side in Nationwide Division One on 21st March 2004 just days after winning a place in the FA Cup Semi-Finals with success at Tranmere Rovers.

The margin of victory could have been even greater had Stephen Bywater - who saw red later in the day - not saved Neil Harris' penalty-kick, whilst Cahill missed a chance to grab a hat-trick also from the spot, but Millwall earned bragging rights on the day with an emphatic result.
