Millwall manager Gary Rowett is calling on his players to replicate some of their best away performances at Nottingham Forest this Friday (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Lions have picked up some vital away victories this season, with the most recent one coming away at Preston North End, who at the time boasted the best home record in the Sky Bet Championship.

Millwall travel to Nottingham Forest on the back of two home draws against Birmingham City and Bristol City, and will hope to pick up their first win in the League since the trip to Deepdale last month.

Mason Bennett recently credited the side's "team cohesion", and the gaffer echoed the forward's thoughts about the side as he looks to the squad to use that togetherness to pick up a result on Friday evening.

Speaking to millwallfc.co.uk, Rowett said: "We've just changed that outlook away from home.

"If you think about some of the results we've had, not just the wins but some of the draws at really difficult places, we've gone to Sheffield Wednesday, Cardiff, Stoke and drawn. They're hard places to go and get results.

"We've had some big performances and results away from home and Forest is another one of those. We know it will be a tough challenge, but it's a challenge in which we'll go there and give it everything we've got to try and win the game."
