Ryan Woods has put pen-to-paper on a season-long loan deal at The Den.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who spent the second half of the 2019/20 campaign in SE16, will now join up with Gary Rowett's squad for the entire 2020/21 season.
Woods made 18 appearances at the heart of The Lions' engine room as Millwall finished eighth in the Sky Bet Championship, impressing supporters with his performances and outstanding range of passing.
"I'm really happy," Woods told millwallfc.co.uk. "I'm really pleased it has been done so early as well. It was a no brainer, I've really enjoyed my time here since joining.
"I think that's started to reflect on the pitch. I'm starting to get my confidence back, which I lacked for 12-14 months - I'm delighted to be back to myself, and I want to help out the team as much as possible going into next season.
"I'm really pleased with the last few weeks, it's probably put me in line with the rest of the players in the League. I was a bit behind having not played much football at Stoke."
After three months in lockdown, a frenetic period of nine games in just over a month ended the season - and with pre-season training just three weeks away, the loanee already has his eye on 2020/21.
"We've got a couple of weeks away with our families, which will be nice - more from a mental point of view than anything - and then we'll come back in for 4/5 weeks and do a small pre-season. Things will then start up again, and hopefully we can get the fans back as soon as possible, because it's not nice playing in an empty stadium."
