The 2019/20 season may have only just reached its conclusion - but Connor Mahoney already has one eye on 2020/21.
The winger scored one and assisted two more on Wednesday night as The Lions capped off their campaign with a 4-1 victory over Huddersfield Town, and the 23-year-old is relishing the prospect of more football when the new season gets underway.
The squad are scheduled to return to training in around three weeks' time.
"It was a terrific way to end the season on a personal level," Mahoney told millwallfc.co.uk. "On a team level, it could've been one of those games where there was nothing to play for, but we wanted to finish on a high, so when we come back for next season we've got that winning mentality.
"There's going to be a quick turnaround now, but when we're back in, we're going to be at full throttle and hoping to go one or two places better than this season."
In just the fourth minute, the wide man took a Matt Smith knock-down in his stride before striking across goal and scoring.
"Playing off Smudge, you know he's going to win those sorts of flick-ons, but I had still to be in the right place at the right time. The finish - yeah, it was good to get one."
