Bartosz Bialkowski has been named as the Millwall Supporters' Club 2019/20 Player of the Season.

The goalkeeper triumphed over Jed Wallace and Mahlon Romeo, were voted into second and third place respectively.

The 33-year-old stopper, who joined The Lions on loan from Ipswich Town last summer before making the move permanent, won the Millwall Supporters' Club vote after impressing in his 48 appearances for the club.

A vibrant personality on and off the pitch, Bialkowski made numerous memorable saves across the 2019/20 campaign, most notably at Luton Town and Cardiff City and at home to Charlton Athletic, and has kept 17 clean sheets this season; 16 in the Sky Bet Championship.

Billy Mitchell has been awarded with the title of Young Player of the Year, whilst Jed Wallace took the crown for Goal of the Season for his strike at Cardiff City on Boxing Day.

Bialkowski doubled up by winning the Junior Lions Player of the Year crown - and has also shared the 'Golden Glove' trophy with Brentford stopper David Raya having secured 16 clean sheets in the Sky Bet Championship - with the departing Aiden O'Brien named as PFA Community Champion of the Year.

"I'm delighted," Bart told "It's been a great season for me personally, but for the whole team too. A much-improved season from last year. I wasn't here then, but I know it was a disappointing season for the club.

"We've been consistent, but there has been ups and downs along the way, as there will be in a long season. But, we managed to stay in the fight for the Play-Offs until nearly the last game of the season.

"The fans have been absolutely brilliant from day one. They welcomed me with open arms and I felt their support along the way. Hopefully next year they can be back with us and help us be successful."
