Lions supporter Ayse Smith will be collecting sleeping bags for homeless veterans once again at the Zampa Road gates prior to kick-off when Millwall host Sheffield United in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round (kick-off 3pm).
Ayse has become a familiar face to many fans and has urged fellow supporters to continue helping out those less fortunate by supporting the UK Homes 4 Heroes charity.
She said: "I'm looking for people to donate sleeping bags for homeless veterans. Sleeping bags are better than blankets for them to carry around. Coats, hats and gloves are also much appreciated, but more are definitely needed. Please have a dig around at home or in your loft."
Ayse is also collecting crisp packets - it doesn't matter what type, as long as they have the silver inside them! - to create 'Bivi sacks', which sleeping bags go inside to keep the occupant warm and dry.
UK H4H directors Michelle Thorpe and Jimmy Jukes MBE, added: "UK Homes 4 Heroes Pride & Passion is a registered charity for Homeless Ex-Service Personnel, founded in Bermondsey in 2010.
"We would like to thank all the staff and supporters of Millwall FC for your generosity towards your local charity. Together we can make a difference."
