Mason Bennett has labelled Millwall as a "great club" after putting pen-to-paper at The Den on Thursday morning.
The 23-year-old forward has joined The Lions on loan from Derby County until the end of the 2019/20 campaign, and spoke to millwallfc.co.uk before joining his team-mates for the first time for training.
"I've known about it for a while," said Bennett when asked about how the move came about. "I had an unfortunate injury at Derby just before Christmas, but he has been keen to get me in and I've been working hard ever since to get as fit as I can."
Bennett can operate in a number of attacking positions - and the loanee is looking to bringing "different attributes" to Gary Rowett's "tight-knit" squad.
"I can bring different attributes to what the lads have now. I know they're flying. I can give a different option to the team going forward with pace and power, and I want to get back playing and enjoying football - this is a great club to come to to do that.
"I don't know much about the playing squad, apart from Alex Pearce, but I've been watching from afar this season and it seems like a tight-knit group who want to work for each other, which is the perfect environment for me to come into."
