Preview | Wigan Athletic vs Millwall

Lions on the road again...

21 February 2020

Millwall travel to Wigan Athletic in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

The Lions will be eyeing up a second consecutive away win on the road after last Saturday's victory at Preston North End. Shaun Hutchinson's 77th-minute winning header was enough to secure the points on the day.

Rowett remains without midfielder Shaun Williams as he recovers from a hip injury picked against Fulham last week at The Den. Frank Fielding and Ben Thompson remain long-term absentees but on-loan striker Mason Bennett will be hoping to have some involvement on Saturday after returning to first-team training this week.

We know it's going to be a tough game. We know they'll be desperate to add points to their tally to get out of the bottom three and we've got to be concentrated and really focused.

Listen to Gary Rowett's interview in full as he looks ahead to Saturday's trip to the DW Stadium.

Tickets for the game are now off sale. Regrettably, this match will now be unavailable to UK and international subscribers on iFollow. Full match commentary, however, will still be available. The club would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Jed Wallace and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson have been speaking to millwallfc.co.uk in the build-up to the game, and you can find out what they had to say by clicking the relevant links.
