Preview | Chelsea v Millwall Under 18s

Last eight tie at Stamford Bridge...

27 February 2020

Millwall's Under 18s travel across London to take on Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup Quarter-Finals on Thursday night (kick-off 7pm).

The game against The Blues will see both clubs compete for a place in the final four of the competition and must be finished on the night.

Larry McAvoy and Chris Perry's Under 18s side head to West London in good form, maintaining their solid League campaign with a 4-2 victory over Queens Park Rangers last weekend. They do, however, come up against a Chelsea side with outstanding pedigree in the FA Youth Cup, winning the tournament multiple times.

Sean O'Brien and Abdul Abdulmalik have scored in every round so far and will look to continue that record against The Blues, whilst the likes of Jay Barton, Hayden Muller and Tyrese Briscoe - scorer of the winning goal in the Fifth Round win at AFC Bournemouth - will hope to feature once again.

The Lions will be supported by 1,000 fans at Stamford Bridge, but if you are unable to make it, then all the action will be able to watch on iFollow for free - viewers will need to create an account to do so.

O'Brien and the duo of McAvoy and Perry have been speaking to millwallfc.co.uk in the build-up to Thursday night's encounter, and you can hear what they had to say by clicking the relevant links.
