After making his debut for The Lions against Birmingham City on Wednesday, on-loan forward Mason Bennett described the feeling as 'great'.
The 23-year-old received the nod off manager Gary Rowett to start against The Blues, after impressing on his League debut for the club against Wigan Athletic last Saturday.
Bennett joined The Lions late in the January transfer window but has been plagued by frustrating, minor injuries since which has prevented him from featuring.
He was due to feature for the Under 23s last week against Crystal Palace, however Rowett felt it would be more beneficial for the forward to train and feature against The Latics.
With two appearances to his name now and vital minutes under his belt, Bennett is pleased to have kicked off his Millwall career.
Speaking to millwallfc.co.uk, Bennett said: "It's been a few weeks since I signed at the club. I was just getting little niggles and I was just delighted to get on the pitch, the fans were great and I got a great response from them.
"The lads have been great, the staff have been great and it was nice to get out there. I feel sharp, I felt sharp in training for the past couple of weeks. I'm just trying to transform that onto the pitch, help the team get three points and climb up the table.
"We've got some great team cohesion, everyone sticks together, there's a great team spirit which I thrive off and I love it."
