Gary Rowett wants to make life "uncomfortable" for West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon - but is also wary of the threat that the table-toppers pose.
The Lions welcome The Baggies to SE16 this weekend (kick-off 1.30pm), and in speaking to millwallfc.co.uk, the boss lauded Slaven Bilic's side and previewed the first of three matches in six days.
"They're a really good side - a top side, one of the best in the division," Rowett expressed. "Slaven Bilic is an experienced manager and has done a really good job, and they've made some good additions.
"They have players who can win the game individually as well as part of a team, and they have some experienced players down the spine as well as youthfulness and athleticism out wide. There's a good balance there.
"We're always respectful of the teams in this division, but we're at home and possess a good atmosphere at The Den. We'll need the crowd to be patient when we haven't got the ball, but at the same time we've got to try and make it an uncomfortable game for West Brom."
