James Brown signs new Millwall contract

Defender puts pen-to-paper

14 February 2020

James Brown has signed a new contract which will keep him at The Den until June 2021.

The right-back, a regular and captain of Kevin Nugent's Under 23 side, has made three first-team appearances in his Lions career - two this season - and completed his first professional 90 minutes for The Lions during the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round defeat to Sheffield United last month.

The 22-year-old will spend at least the next 16 months in SE16 and will hope to force his way into Gary Rowett's first-team plans for the remainder of this season and 2020/21.
