Mason Bennett is now a Millwall player on a permanent basis - and the attacker praised The Lions' management team and squad as a reason behind his desire to make the move to SE16.
The 24-year-old puts pen-to-paper on a deal from Derby County for an undisclosed fee, and becomes a part of Gary Rowett's 2020/21 side after scoring twice in nine exciting appearances in the second half of 2019/20.
"I'm absolutely buzzing," Bennett explained to millwallfc.co.uk after sealing the transfer. "The gaffer has stuck by me and has worked incredibly hard to get this deal over the line.
"There was weekly contact from the manager, as well as Joe Carnall and some of the lads, including Pearcey. I know for a fact that here is the only place I wanted to be and spend this season and future years."
Bennett quickly became a fan favourite during his loan spell with his ability to turn defence into attack in an instant, and the frontman is looking to replicate those attributes in the new season, as well as staying fit and lending his weight to The Lions' positive fortunes.
"[Pace and power] is the strongest part of my game. Every opportunity I get, I'll take people on and drive the team forward, and try to score some goals and get some assists.
"I feel great. I've played a few games in this pre-season already [at Derby] and got through training fine. I feel strong and ready to hit the ground running."
