Sixteen years ago today...

Apologies, this video is unvailable.

Perhaps the greatest day in Millwall Football Club's history?

On 4th April 2004, The Lions took to the field at Old Trafford - the home of Manchester United - for an FA Cup Semi-Final against fellow Division One side Sunderland.

Not only did a historic first appearance in the Final hang in the balance, but so did UEFA Cup football the following season.

After seeing off Walsall, Telford United, Burnley and Tranmere Rovers - the latter in a replay - Dennis Wise and Ray Wilkins' outfit faced The Mackems at 'The Theatre of Dreams' in a pulsating and dramatic tie.

Seconds felt like minutes. Minutes felt like hours. Hours felt like days. But, one man wrote his name into the history books and sent the blue side of the stadium home very, very happy.

Sixteen years to the day, you can now relive that memorable occasion by watching the full game above.

Enjoy - if you can!
