Preview | Reading v Millwall

Rowett's first away game in charge...

1 November 2019

Millwall travel to Reading in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

The fixture at the Madejski Stadium represents Gary Rowett's first away match in charge of The Lions, and the boss will be looking to build on last weekend's 2-0 victory over Stoke City against The Royals.

Frank Fielding and Ryan Leonard remain absentees for the trip, and whilst Jiri Skalak has been building match fitness in the Under 23s, the match should come too soon for the Czech. Otherwise, Rowett has the same squad to choose from, with Jake Cooper, Alex Pearce and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson all returning to their old stomping ground.

Over 2,200 Lions fans will be making the journey this weekend - Millwall's allocation is SOLD OUT - but if you are not one of them, then full match commentary will be on iFollow, with coverage beginning at around 2.50pm. International subscribers, meanwhile, can watch the action LIVE on iFollow - click here for more details.

Supporters travelling to the Madejski Stadium are urged to read this advice, whilst there is plenty in the way of pre-match content on millwallfc.co.uk in the lead-up to kick-off.

Mahlon Romeo, Jed Wallace and Rowett have all been speaking, whilst our opposition preview on The Royals can be seen here.

The Lions have been preparing on the training ground for this Saturday's game, also, and you can view our gallery by clicking here.
