Millwall midfielder Shaun Williams and forward Aiden O'Brien have been called up to the provisional Republic of Ireland squad as the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers begin.
Former Lions player and manager Mick McCarthy is back at the helm of the Irish national side, and makes his second managerial debut with the team against Gibraltar on Saturday 23rd March.
Williams and O'Brien will hope to feature for McCarthy's side in the Gibraltar clash, as well as when they host Georgia at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday 26th March.
The Lions duo still hold the statistic of being the last two players to score for the Republic of Ireland, their respective first international goals back in September.
O'Brien currently has four senior Irish caps to his name, whilst Williams has three.
