Neil Harris has given a team news update ahead of The Lions hosting Hull City in the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday (kick-off 2pm).
"[The FA Cup] is a brilliant competition, and we certainly want to win on Sunday," the boss told millwallfc.co.uk.
"The Blackburn game - our next League fixture - is of course in our minds, but we look forward to Sunday first.
"We need to find a balance between the continuity from three wins in a row and also trying to freshen the team up - I'll assess training on Friday and Saturday before naming the team.
"We'll look in some areas to freshen the team up, and give players well-needed minutes. I'm sure Nigel [Adkins] will be in the same position as me, with Hull on a great run themselves."
The manager has discussed the potential of Alex Pearce's debut for The Lions in the tie, alongside his other defensive options.
"We'll monitor Alex in training, and see from there whether we can get him involved. We're not overloaded at the back, with Conor McLaughlin injured.
"There's a hesitation to a certain extent to use James Brown, as he would be unable to go out on loan in the second half of the season if he plays Sunday, where he's already played for Livingston this year."
