Preview | Millwall v Everton

BBC cameras come down to The Den...

25 January 2019

Millwall welcome Everton to The Den for an Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round tie - LIVE on BBC - on Saturday evening (kick-off 5.30pm).

The Lions are at this stage of the competition due to a stunning Shane Ferguson-inspired comeback in the Third Round against Hull City, and now take on the Premier League Toffees for a place in Round Five.

Millwall, however, will be looking to bounce back at The Den following a disappointing late defeat to Blackburn Rovers last time out, but will take heart from an improved performance and result at Middlesbrough last weekend - Jed Wallace's goal looked to have given The Lions all three points, but Jordan Hugill's 90th-minute spot-kick ensured a share of the spoils.

Ben Thompson, Ben Marshall and Fred Onyedinma will all sit out the game as they are Cup-tied, whilst goalkeeper Ben Amos will be missing courtesy of a finger injury. Alex Pearce, Jiri Skalak and Aiden O'Brien, who all started in the last round, will be pushing for recalls.

Zampa's Family Fun Zone returns this weekend! Head to the Lions Centre inside the Millwall Community Trust building from 3-4pm for FREE fun. Click here for more details. There will also be a DJ present outside the SE16 Bar prior to kick-off for those wishing to soak up the atmosphere early.

An 84-page special edition matchday programme will be on sale around the ground, with former Millwall and Everton legend Tim Cahill under the spotlight, alongside an interview with ex-Lions striker Marvin Williams, who scored the last time two the clubs met in the FA Cup at The Den. Packed with other facts, stats and features, pick up your copy for just £3.

Tickets for Saturday's game will be on general sale up until kick-off, but only for supporters with a purchase history. A large crowd is expected in SE16, so those wishing to collect tickets before kick-off are strongly advised to arrive early - or collect in advance - to prevent lengthy queues building before the game gets underway. The Ticket Office will be open from 11am, alongside the Lions Store, for fans wishing to buy merchandise.

If you are unable to get in front of a TV set, full match commentary will be available on iFollow Millwall from around 5.20pm. This match will be unavailable to watch on iFollow for UK and international subscribers. Click here for more details.
