Preview | Millwall v Blackburn Rovers

Lions LIVE at The Den...

11 January 2019

Millwall play their first home Sky Bet Championship game of 2019 on Saturday evening as The Lions host Blackburn Rovers LIVE on Sky Sports (kick-off 5.30pm).

The Lions continued their recent good form by knocking Hull City out of the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday afternoon, and will now look to add to their three consecutive League wins - four in total - against Tony Mowbray's men.

Tom Bradshaw continues to recover from injury and will be absent from Neil Harris' squad this weekend, with the game perhaps coming too soon for Lee Gregory and Shaun Hutchinson, who continue to make their way back to fitness from knocks.

Shaun Williams returned from injury against The Tigers and will look to be involved, whilst Alex Pearce will battle for a defensive berth after making his Lions debut against Nigel Adkins' men. Fred Onyedinma, Tom King, Sid Nelson and Ben Thompson have all returned from loan spells and are available for selection.

Millwall's Family Fun Zone returns this Saturday! From 3-4pm, supporters from both clubs can enjoy FREE fun in the Lions Centre, which is located next door to The Den. Click here for more details.

The Den's Lions Store and Ticket Office, meanwhile, will be open from 11am for those wishing to purchase tickets for upcoming games. Tickets for Saturday's game will also be available right up until kick-off.

The club will host its first-ever 'Academy Day' on Saturday, and the matchday programme, which continues to commemorate The Lions' 25 years at The 'new' Den contains an in-depth look at Millwall's youth system, with interviews with a number of Academy personnel. Also, the 2006/7 campaign - the club's first season back in League One after relegation from The Championship - comes under the spotlight as we speak to exciting winger Chris Hackett.

Millwall supporter Ayse Smith will be at the Zampa Road gate prior to kick-off collecting sleeping bags and winter wear for homeless veterans, and you can find out more about that by clicking here.

If you are unable to make Saturday's game, full match commentary will be available on iFollow Millwall from around 5.20pm. Due to this match being selected for TV coverage by Sky Sports, video coverage of the game will not be available on iFollow. Click here for more details.
