Neil Harris has spoken of how pleased he is to tie up a new Millwall contract with Shane Ferguson.
The Northern Ireland winger this week signed an extension to his deal with The Lions, having made his Den debut in 2015.
“We’re really pleased to agree a new contract with Fergie,” the manager states.
“Fergie’s one of those who has been here longer than a lot of people probably think, after coming on loan originally and he has played a lot of games for me.
“He’s a reliable player, and he’s got a lot of quality.”
Ferguson has made 28 of his 134 Millwall appearances this season, scoring four of his 12 goals since the summer including a sensational late brace to overcome Hull City in the Emirates FA Cup last month.
“I’m really pleased that he has committed to us, as he deserves a new contract,” Harris claims.
“He has quality at key moments – dead-ball deliveries, open-play crosses, and he’s scored a few important goals for us this year.
“We’re delighted to continue working with him.”
