Millwall fans travelling to Saturday's Sky Bet Championship opening fixture against Preston North End at The Den (kick-off 3pm) by train are advised to check their journey before they leave.
Due to summer holidays and many events across the Southern network, Southern Rail are unable to supplement train services for this game. They will be offering a normal Saturday service, which is made up of a 15-minute service between South Bermondsey and London Bridge. The trains will be made up of four coaches.
Furthermore, there will be no Southeastern services from London Charing Cross, London Waterloo East, London Cannon Street or London Bridge all weekend, and many routes will have fewer trains than normal. Most lines will run from London Victoria instead due to engineering works.
