Preview | West Bromwich Albion v Millwall (Carabao Cup)

The road to Wembley begins...

13 August 2019

Millwall return to The Hawthorns for the second time in four days on Tuesday night as The Lions take on West Bromwich Albion in a Carabao Cup First Round tie (kick-off 8pm).

Following Saturday's 1-1 draw in the Sky Bet Championship, the two clubs will meet once again, this time for a place in Round Two of England's secondary domestic competition.

Neil Harris may choose to ring the changes for the trip - if he does, then Luke Steele could be set for his Lions debut in goal, whilst names such as Jason McCarthy, Shaun Hutchinson, Shane Ferguson, Jiri Skalak and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson are also in line to feature.

If Tuesday's tie is level after 90 minutes, then a penalty shootout will decide who advances to Round Two, with extra-time scrapped in the Carabao Cup.

If you are unable to attend The Hawthorns, then full match commentary - provided by BBC London - will be available on iFollow Millwall. Video coverage of the tie will be unavailable to both UK and international subscribers.
