Preview | Millwall v Brentford

London derby at The Den...

18 April 2019

Millwall's Easter period begins with the visit of Brentford in the Sky Bet Championship on Good Friday (kick-off 1pm).

After Jake Cooper's last-gasp equaliser earned The Lions a point at high-flying Sheffield United last Saturday, Neil Harris' side welcome The Bees to SE16 unbeaten in three League matches, and with just one defeat in five Championship games to their name.

The manager has no fresh injury worries, but a change of formation or personnel is a possibility given last Saturday's 3-5-2 set-up at Bramall Lane. Tom Bradshaw remains on the sidelines with a long-term knee injury.

Tickets will be available right up until kick-off on Friday, but if you are unable to make it to The Den, then full match commentary will be available on iFollow Millwall, with coverage starting at around 12.50pm. International subscribers to iFollow will be able to watch all the action - find out more by clicking here.

The annual 'Jimmy's Day' will take place on Friday, with the Mizen family present as the life of Jimmy Mizen is celebrated, alongside the outstanding work of the 'For Jimmy' foundation. You can read from Barry and Margaret Mizen by clicking here, while Lions boss Harris has expressed his admiration for the family here.

Around the ground before kick-off, Lions supporter Steve Rendell will be holding a raffle by the Blue Bus before kick-off, with a signed and framed 2018/19 away shirt up for grabs. All proceeds go to the MPS Society.

Also, Ayse Smith will be back at the Zampa Road gate collecting sleeping bags for homeless veterans. Click here to find out more. You can also continue your collection of Millwall's commemorative matchday programmes, which you can find out about here.

There will be no Family Fun Zone prior to the fixture, but a DJ will be present by the SE16 Bar from 11.30am - with the temperatures expected to soar this weekend, take advantage of the good atmosphere and get yourself a drink! Before you do that, however, make sure you cast your vote for your 2018/19 Player of the Year by the Blue Bus, and donate to Southwark Foodbank!

Brentford's 'Season So Far' can be viewed here, as can our statistical preview of Friday's game, whilst David Martin and Conor McLaughlin have been speaking to millwallfc.co.uk alongside the manager ahead of this Friday's encounter.
