Millwall Football Club is pleased to announce a new partnership with Burnhill Kitchens.
The three-year agreement will see the Tonbridge-based company sponsor the club’s Hospitality Boxes and, as part of the deal, refurbish them.
Burnhill Kitchens was founded in 2000 by Millwall fan Mike D’Arcy, who remains CEO. His son Sam, also a Lions supporter, is the company’s Managing Director. Since its formation the company has grown to become one of the biggest independent kitchen organisations in the UK, project-managing over 200 installations per year. They design and install bespoke kitchens from various European and UK-based suppliers, and their Kent showroom has over 30 displays and six award-winning designers.
Stuart Lock, Millwall’s Head of Commercial and Retail, said: “We are delighted to start this new partnership with Burnhill Kitchens. Linking up with Millwall fans is always important and Mike and Sam’s enthusiasm is infectious.
“Work has already started on refurbishing our Hospitality Boxes which we believe is, most importantly, a reward for our loyal attendees. Many purchase Boxes year after year and they deserve such improvements. We also hope the move will make our Boxes more attractive to potential new customers and clients.”
Mike D’Arcy added: “My son and I are very excited to be beginning this new partnership with Millwall. Having spent most Saturday afternoons on the halfway line and on trips up and down the country for so many years, it never occurred to me that I could go on to start my own company which would lead to an opportunity such as this.
“We wish the management, players and everyone at the club every success and we look forward to working closely with everyone at The Den over the next three years and beyond.”
