Millwall Football Club is proud to be continuing its partnership with Southwark Foodbank at The Den this Friday afternoon.
During the club's first-ever 'Community Day', over 50kg of products were donated at the donation station, placed at the Millwall Supporters' Club marquee next to the Blue Bus.
Lions fans have been extremely generous in donating goods to their local foodbank in recent years but the demand for produce is as large as ever before - so the club is calling on a huge effort from supporters ahead of kick-off against Stoke City.
Southwark Foodbank are in particular need of the following items:
- Tinned meat (pork and non-pork)
- Rice pudding
- Tinned fruit
- Cooking sauces/pasta sauce
- Fruit juice (UHT/long life only)
- Toiletries (toothpaste/brushes, shower gels, deodorant, shaving foam and razors)
- Toilet roll
- Milk (UHT/long life only)
Fans are advised against donating fresh produce or perishable food, plus the foodbank already has plenty of beans, sanitary products, instant noodles, soups, baby wipes and nappies.
