Dan McNamara joins Havant & Waterlooville on loan

Young defender to spend rest of season on south coast

Young Millwall defender Dan McNamara has joined Vanarama National League side Havant & Waterlooville on loan until the end of the 2018/19 season.

McNamara becomes the second player to sign for The Hawks on a temporary deal from The Den, with Harry Donovan completing a loan move just days before.

The 20-year-old - who has played for and captained Kevin Nugent's Under 23 side regularly this season - made his debut for Lee Bradbury's side at the weekend, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw at Sutton United. He has also spent loan stints with Dover Athletic and Welling United this term.

The south coast side are further acquainted with Millwall through Lions legend Paul Robinson now representing The Hawks.

In further U23 news, goalkeeper Ryan Sandford has extended his loan with Egham Town until the end of the current campaign.
